Samsung Galaxy S25 to Get AI Call Screening With One UI 8.5


Samsung is preparing to bring its AI powered Call Screening feature to the Galaxy S25 series through the upcoming One UI 8.5 update. This feature originally launched with the newer Galaxy S26 series, but Samsung is now bringing it to last year’s flagship devices as well.

The confirmation appeared through a Samsung community discussion where a moderator confirmed that the Galaxy S25 series will receive the Call Screening feature in a future update.

What Call Screening Does

Call Screening uses artificial intelligence to answer unknown calls on your behalf and identify the purpose of the call before you pick it up. The feature can help users avoid spam calls, telemarketing calls, and unknown callers.

Instead of answering a call blindly, the AI system interacts with the caller and provides information about who is calling and why. Users can then decide whether they want to answer the call or ignore it.

One UI 8.5 Will Bring More AI Features
