Samsung Launches Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G With Upgraded Features


Samsung Electronics has officially introduced the new Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G in Europe, expanding its mid range smartphone lineup. These devices bring improved performance, updated design, better durability, and new AI powered features. A launch in additional markets is expected later this year.

Samsung’s A series has always been popular for offering strong features at a more affordable price, and the new models continue that strategy with noticeable upgrades in performance, display quality, and software support.

Galaxy A57 5G Brings Performance and Design Improvements

The Galaxy A57 5G is the more powerful model in the new lineup. It features a thinner design at just 6.9mm and includes an improved cooling system with a larger vapor chamber, which helps maintain performance during gaming and heavy usage.

The phone comes with a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster technology for better outdoor visibility. Performance is powered by a new Exynos processor and the device includes 8GB to 12GB of RAM depending on the model.

Samsung has also improved durability by upgrading water and dust resistance to IP68, which offers better protection compared to previous models. The phone runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and Samsung is promising up to six years of operating system and security updates.

The camera system includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 12MP front camera.

Galaxy A37 5G Offers Similar Features at a Lower Price

The Galaxy A37 5G shares several features with the A57, including the same 6.7 inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display and a 5,000 mAh battery. However, it has slightly lower camera specifications and different processor and RAM options.

The A37 includes an 8MP ultrawide camera instead of the 12MP ultrawide found on the A57. It is expected to use an Exynos chipset with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Both phones support Super Fast Charging 2.0 and can reach around 60 percent charge in about 30 minutes.

Samsung is offering different color options for both models. The Galaxy A57 5G will be available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac. The Galaxy A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.

The new Galaxy A series devices are expected to go on sale starting April 10 in Europe through Samsung’s website and major retailers. The Galaxy A57 5G starts at £529, while the Galaxy A37 5G starts at £399. A release in other regions is expected to follow shortly after the European launch.
