Samsung Begins One UI 8.5 Rollout for Galaxy Devices


After months of beta testing and constant attention on the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is finally expanding the stable One UI 8.5 update to more Galaxy devices.

The rollout officially starts on May 6, 2026, although not everyone will receive the update at the same time. Samsung is taking its usual staged approach, gradually expanding availability across regions and supported models.

Which Devices Are Getting One UI 8.5 First?

  • Galaxy S25 Edge

After that, Samsung plans to expand the update to:

  • Galaxy S24 series

  • Galaxy Z Fold 7

  • Galaxy Z Flip 7

  • Galaxy Tab S11 lineup

  • Galaxy Tab S10 lineup

As expected, South Korea will receive the update before other regions, with North America, Europe, and parts of Asia following shortly afterward.

Samsung is introducing new communication features, productivity tools, and creative AI experiences designed to make Galaxy devices feel more personalized and efficient.
