Samsung Confirms Edge Panel Bug on Galaxy Phones, Fix Is on the Way


Samsung's Edge Panels have long been one of the standout features of One UI, giving Galaxy users quick access to their favorite apps, contacts, tools, and widgets with a simple swipe. However, some Galaxy owners have recently discovered that this convenient shortcut isn't working as expected.

Samsung has now acknowledged the issue, confirming that the bug is connected to one of its popular Good Lock modules. While a permanent fix is being prepared, users will need to rely on temporary workarounds for now.

What's Causing the Edge Panel Problem?

Reports from Galaxy users indicate that swiping from the edge of the display no longer opens the Edge Panel consistently.

Some users have found that disabling and re-enabling Edge Panels restores the feature temporarily, but the issue often returns after some time.

Samsung moderators have confirmed that the problem isn't caused by Edge Panels themselves. Instead, it stems from One Hand Operation Plus, a Good Lock module designed to improve one-handed navigation through customizable swipe gestures.
