Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Appears in Real-World Leak Ahead of Official Launch


Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 has made another early appearance, this time in real-world videos that offer the clearest look yet at the company's redesigned foldable smartphone.

The footage surfaced just days before Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to make its official debut. While previous leaks relied on renders and specifications, these new clips show the device in someone's hand, giving a better sense of its size and overall design.

Galaxy Z Fold 8's Wider Design Takes Center Stage

The biggest talking point is the Fold 8's new shape.

Unlike previous Galaxy Fold models, the upcoming device appears noticeably wider and shorter, creating a form factor that resembles a compact tablet when unfolded. Even while closed, the phone looks smaller and easier to hold than earlier versions.

The leaked device, shown in a purple finish, appears to feature the rumored 5.5-inch outer display, giving it a more balanced look compared to Samsung's traditionally tall and narrow foldables.
