Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Gets August 2026 Security Update in Europe


Samsung is making a last-minute push to deliver its August 2026 security update, with the Galaxy S24 series now receiving the latest patch across Europe. The rollout covers the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, following the update's arrival for the Galaxy S23 series in South Korea.

The new firmware carries version S92xBXXS6DZH2 and requires a download of more than 400MB, although the exact file size varies slightly between models. The update focuses on security rather than introducing a major set of new features, making it an important maintenance release for Galaxy S24 owners.

How to install the August 2026 update on Galaxy S24

If you own a Galaxy S24 series phone in Europe, you can check whether the update is ready directly from your device. Open Settings, select Software update, and tap Download and install or Check for updates, depending on the version of One UI installed on your phone.
