Samsung One UI 9 Stable Update Begins Rolling Out to Galaxy S26


Samsung's One UI 9 rollout has reached an important milestone. After putting the Galaxy S26 series through seven beta releases, the company has begun distributing the stable Android 17-based update to Galaxy S26 devices in South Korea.

The update carries build numbers S948NKSU4BZI6, S948NOKR4BZI6, and S948NKSU4BZHO for different Galaxy S26 models. It is approximately 650MB in size and includes the September security patch.

One UI 9 Stable Update Reaches Galaxy S26

The first confirmed rollout is taking place in South Korea. Samsung has not yet provided a release schedule for other markets, but the arrival of the stable version means the Galaxy S26 series is moving beyond the beta testing phase.

Galaxy S26 owners who want to check manually can open Settings > Software update > Check for updates. If the update has reached their region, One UI 9 should appear as an available download.

New Galaxy AI Features Arrive

One UI 9 brings several new features to the Galaxy S26 series. Some of the additions were previously introduced on Samsung's newest foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra.

Among the new Galaxy AI additions are My FanCam, Call Brief, and customizable cards in Now Brief. Samsung has also included other changes throughout One UI 9 aimed at improving the overall Galaxy experience.

The update gives Galaxy S26 users access to more of the software features that have recently been appearing across Samsung's flagship lineup.
